Piperacillin PI 100 mcg

Piperacillin PI 100 mcg discs are used for antimicrobial susceptibility testing of bacterial cultures as per Kirby Bauer Method.

Composition	Piperacillin: 100 mcg
Appearance	Filter paper disc of 6 mm diameter with printed “PI 100 mcg” on each side of the disc.
Storage	BioScien Piperacillin 100 mcg should be stored between -20 to 8 °C in a firmly closed container. Use before expiry date on the label. Product performance is best if used within stated expiry period.
Quality control	Average diameter of zone of inhibition observed on Mueller Hinton Agar for 18-24 hours incubation at 35°C-37°C for standard cultures. Std. zone of diameter (mm): Escherichia coli (25922): 24-30; Pseudomonas aeruginosa Strain Boston (27853): 25-33; Escherichia coli (35218): 12-18.
