PPLO agar growth medium, recommended for the cultivation and selective isolation of Mycoplasma species.

Composition	Beef Heart Infusion 50.00 gm; Peptone 10 gm; Thallium Acetate 0.25 gm; Amphotericin B 0.0025 gm; Sodium chloride 5.00 gm; Horse Serum 200.0 ml; Yeast Extract 25% 100 ml; Agar 14 gm; Demineralized Water 700 ml; Penicillin 100,000,000 U. pH 6.5 ± 1.0
Storage	Store at 10°C -30°C in tightly closed container. Store in a cool, dry place.
Appearance	Cream coloured, free flowing powder.
