Tryptic Soy Agar
General purpose medium for the cultivation of fastidious and non-fastidious microorganisms.

| Preparation | Suspend 40 gm in 1 liter of distilled water. Adjust pH to 7.3 ± 0.2 at 25 °C. Boil to dissolve completely. Sterilize by autoclaving at 121 °C for 15 minutes. Pour into sterile petri dishes. |
| Storage | After opening the seal, keep tightly closed using the supplied plastic plug. Keep dry, tightly closed and away from direct light. Storage temperature on the label: 10 °C to 30 °C. |
