Enrichment media for the isolation of Salmonella sp. and some species of Shigella.

| Preparation | Dissolve 23 gm in 1 liter of distilled water. Adjust pH to 7.0 ± 0.2 at 25 °C. Distribute in sterile test tubes. Sterilize in a boiling water bath or flowing steam for 10 minutes. DO NOT AUTOCLAVE. |
| Storage | After opening the seal, keep tightly closed using the supplied plastic plug. Keep dry, tightly closed and away from direct light. Storage temperature on the label: 10 °C to 30 °C. |
